Haiku #247 - 9/11 Memorial Concert

It was a beautiful day today, 09/11/12. I learned to play the televi shaker at a percussion workshop, I played a concert for the September Concert, and I met with Nat about our play. I can't seem to think of a haiku that sums it up better than this quote from Rent, so I'll take this moment of haiku silence to say:

"The opposite of war isn't peace, it's creation." (Jonathan Larson)

And that is why I'm an artist.
